Senior Backend Engineer (MPC/Cryptography)
What you'll do: • Design and implement MPC (Multi-Party Computation) protocols for threshold signatures and distributed key management • Build and maintain high-performance backend services in Go/Rust that power our custodial wallet infrastructure • Collaborate with our cryptography research team to translate academic papers into production-grade code • Optimize latency and throughput for real-time signing ceremonies across distributed nodes What we're looking for: • 5+ years of backend engineering experience, with at least 2 years working on cryptographic systems • Strong understanding of elliptic curve cryptography, secret sharing schemes, and MPC protocols (e.g., GG20, CGGMP) • Proficiency in Go or Rust; experience with both is a plus • Familiarity with HSMs, key management best practices, and SOC 2 compliance • Ability to work autonomously in a remote-first, async environment
Protocol Engineer (x402 / Blockchain)
What you'll do: • Develop and extend the x402 payment protocol — an HTTP-native machine payment standard built on HTTP 402 • Build smart contract integrations across EVM-compatible chains for automated payment settlement • Design facilitator and resource server reference implementations that third-party developers can adopt • Work closely with standards bodies and open-source communities to drive x402 adoption What we're looking for: • 3+ years of experience in blockchain / Web3 engineering • Deep understanding of HTTP protocol semantics and REST API design • Proficiency in Solidity and at least one systems language (Go, Rust, or TypeScript) • Experience with EVM internals, gas optimization, and cross-chain interoperability • Passion for open standards and protocol-level infrastructure
Product Manager - Developer Platform
What you'll do: • Own the product roadmap for Paratro's developer-facing platform — APIs, SDKs, dashboard, and documentation • Conduct user research with enterprise developers and AI agent builders to identify pain points and opportunities • Define product requirements and work closely with engineering to ship iteratively • Analyze usage metrics and funnel data to drive activation, retention, and expansion What we're looking for: • 4+ years of product management experience, preferably on developer tools, APIs, or B2B SaaS platforms • Technical background — you can read API docs, write basic scripts, and hold your own in architecture discussions • Strong analytical skills; experience with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar) • Excellent written communication; experience writing PRDs, changelogs, and developer-facing documentation • Familiarity with payments, fintech, or blockchain ecosystems is a plus
Developer Relations Engineer
What you'll do: • Create tutorials, sample apps, and technical content that help developers integrate Paratro's MPC wallet and x402 payment APIs • Represent Paratro at conferences, hackathons, and online communities • Gather developer feedback and translate it into actionable product insights for the engineering team • Maintain and improve our open-source SDKs and developer documentation What we're looking for: • 2+ years in developer relations, developer advocacy, or a similar community-facing engineering role • Strong software engineering skills — you can build demo apps, debug integration issues, and review PRs • Excellent public speaking and technical writing abilities • Experience with Web3, payments, or AI agent ecosystems is highly valued • Active presence in developer communities (GitHub, Twitter/X, Discord, or similar)
